Local Expertise. Global Connections.
Rebecca Minnick brings professionalism, enthusiasm, insight and years of marketing experience to her clients at Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty.
“Connecting with people, thoroughly researching their options and making those perfect matches is a challenge and privilege that I take very seriously,” she says.
Though a fifth-generation Texan, Rebecca grew up in Southern California, eventually attending San Jose State University. Her career started in newspapers in Galveston and Houston and transitioned into public relations and marketing. Her past clients have ranged from major oil and healthcare corporations to consumer-retail concerns and to real estate. She has conceived and implemented public relations and marketing campaigns for developers, homebuilders and commercial real estate projects.
Eventually, her experience led her to a position in business development for the U.S. Space Program. There, she traveled worldwide networking with engineers, scientists and businesses from Europe to Asia. She brings this network and advocacy experience to her Sotheby’s clients.
Rebecca takes community seriously: In addition to serving on several local charitable boards, she is currently Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Wimberley and has served on the city’s Planning & Zoning Commission as well. She and her husband Don, a clinical psychologist and international business consultant, have lived in Wimberley since 2005. The mother of two chefs, Rebecca enjoys travel, good food, music, art and the outdoors, which makes the Texas Hill Country her perfect home base. She considers herself lucky to share this unique place with others.
